Q.How long will it take to install a charge point?
A: It will take between 3-5 hours depending on install
 
Q: What size kW charger can I install at my home?
A: Generally domestic EV charger are 3.7kW or 7kW. You can get 22kW however these are commercial use.
 
Q: How quickly can someone come out and give me a quote?
A: We will try to carry out a site visit and send a quote within 7 working days of receiving the request.
 
Q: Do I qualify for the £350 government grant?
A: Our prices will reflect the £350 saving assuming you are eligible. We will require some information from you when we process the grant application such as you have purchased an OLEV eligible vehicle, you have private off road parking and the charger is an OLEV eligible charger
 
Q: Which charging unit should I use?
A: This will depend on your electricity supply and the type of unit you wanted
 
Q: What is included in the price?
A: Free site visit to give a full accurate quote. Every installation is different, depending on cable length, location of charge point and what charger you is best for you will depend on the final price. Included in every quote will be the installation of the chosen EV Charger, Electrical testing of charge point and training on how to use the charger and app.
 
Q: How much will it cost to charge my car?
A: To make the most of having an electric car and minimise running costs its best to charge your car at home overnight when you’re on a cheaper tariff.  There are also dedicated tariffs available with electricity providers for EV charging. 
 
Q: What is a fast charger?
A: Fast chargers are between 7kW and 22Kw. They can fully recharge electric cars in three to four hours
 
Q: What is a Rapid Charger?
A: A rapid charger is the fastest way to charge an EV vehicle, they are often found on motorway services or on main routes. These are no suitable for domestic charging.
 
Q: I have two electrics electric cars, do I need two electric chargers?
A: No, you can buy a duel charging point, or you charge at separate times.
